co-op scholarship is for commerce, accounting, engineering- and some others i think, you do 18months industry placement over the duration of the course you choose and get financial assistance.

thats ashame- i was wondering, it said over 660 applied- how many received interviews do u think- cause they only do them over a few days but they prob have a few going at once do u think?
Mine says: ASCII
given to me by someone on my first day of school, went something like this 'teacher: ...ASCII, kid: hey- that new kid is american, lets call him ASCII'
That question totally threw me off, I didnt talk about communication skills cause i didnt see how they could possbily relate to project management stragegies- which were not in the syllabus. If they require the mention of communication skills in the marking criteria then the question made even...
yea, true... I'm first in my class as well and i dont see any way that exam could differentiate between those that knew their stuff and studied, and those that didnt. there are whole pages in the syllabus in which nothing was examined.
haha- how come you guys didnt know it, its listed in the syllabus right next to ATM and some other collection devices... Imagine if the test actually tested most of the course- the state average would be 30%
Yea, i was annoyed at the lack of application of content to scenario stuff... all the questions were general and non technical.
but i took out my disapproval of the 'exam' here http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=91396 - probably time to move on
Ideas man is right about question 16, its the only logical repsonse as the stored data (flight availability) is directly accessed by the process of 'make booking' It cant be B cause payment details are a flowline, you cant access a flowline- and even if u could, those details are for making the...
Some of the past papers also included things such as flowcharts, and questions about backup procedures, feasability, communications medium, storyboards, network structures.... Next years IPT class is gonna have no idea what to expect after looking at the other past papers and this one.
I started off not liking the class, but it kinda grew on me. I put alot of work into the assessments and all- and tons of study for this exam, although i dont think studying helped one bit which was kind of disappointing- the whole thing was general knowledge...
But i think i'll miss the...
yea, but they can test our ability to apply knowledge to a scenario by asking to draw a system flowchart based on a scenario, or the appropriate transmission medium for a certain company and the appropraite way to check for errors in data- what knowledge did we have to apply here? using a search...
yea, C is probably right, i put A cause after looking over the question i realized that nowhere did it actually say that it was a disk per say, that was just an example... it just said 'blocks on a medium' C is probably the best answer but i put A which is technically correct
also, what...
thats so basic, three marks for that was a joke, should have been 2- same with that 'draw a web form' question- 4 marks- and they even tell you what to put in it
Yea, question 23 C was junk- the closest thing to project management strategies was project management software and that had nothing to do with it. Communication skills in no way fit the question- nothing related to that question and it was worth 5 marks! i cant even remember what i wrote, but...
Very true, this exam in no way awards hard work and studying like HSC exams are supposed to, it didnt test our knowledge nor our ability to analyse and apply that knowledge to real world situations. The only thing that made this course bearable was that the exams seperated those that know their...
yea, it was in the syllabus so i knew it- easy- there should have been more questions in the exam requiring knowledge of things such as that- you know, cause exams usually assess whats been covered over the span of the course
there is no way B is the better answer, how can u connect a cordless telephone with copper cable, and i want to go to your house if you use fibre-optic cable to connect your computers to the internet, (although you do have quite a few posts on this forum ;) )
