haha nah, I thought that too from the uac guide or even their website but there is defs more than ~25 spots. They basically make an exception since they've gotten .95 and can move the numbers around as much as i want. I think right now there is around 40 something people in comb med from 13' grads

you're pretty much in. They only reject 1 or 2 people out of the 50 they interview. Just dont say anything stupid and you're in.

Are you sure that you can do that for lateral entry? I would think that they'd expect lateral entry applicants to be in medsci for both years.

You guys have to remember that umat isn't only used by australia and a lot of high scoring applicants are actually from nz trying to get into med programs there so mathematically it wouldn't make much sense if the median was to be as high as 97-98th as they wouldn't even find that many...

lol yes. I wish i knew in year 12 that umat is actually x1000 more important than your atar for med admission. Atar is a hurdle in a lot of universities.
