Glyph you are totally right, everyone in my 3unit class that still do 2unit said that it was a really hard 2unit test and even liked the 3unit more than the 2unit, so really it wont do to much as the scaled and algined marks will make up for the hard test.... i guess it will really test well...

yeah it does worry me but i think its more important to see what the raw mark transforms into, since aligned is for hsc and scaled is for uai, both derived from raw, they do not use aligned for uai so there may be some reason, i hope its right

yeah in 2001 those who did 4unit also got a highly scaled 3unit but now both are scaled the same, still nice and high which is good, what do you think would be the average raw mark for 3unit and 4unit respectively ?????? thanks

yeah i feel i can get about 70-78/84 if there are not to many silly mistakes, it was a much easier test, very workbook like, just silly little things that messed me up, then i stuffed up the bearing one, i got a good distance but then i didnt the wrong bearing from the life boat to the girl...

yeah thats proably why i ran out of time to i did the tan@ then converted to sin@ from pathagoras which took a while then the OA and OB distances then x them, luckily it turned out otherwise it would have been the biggest waste of time, it already was a bit, took time away from other questions...

well i prefer to only get the scaled mark back, makes you fell like you have done better with a higher mark....

100+. k then smart and great at maths, i didnt have time to even get 100+ of it done mostly be around 80-90, but otherwise i thought it was an alright exam just long and time consuming, but i guess it is always like that, think i spent to much time drawing the graphs... damn graphs, they do that...

yeah you have to differentiate twice and then resolve by pathagoras, it actually was an easy question as long as you knew the process, if you didnt you would kind of been lost...

for me my estimation is a source of motivation, as i know i am close to it and have to strive for it if i want a shot a certain scholarship..... so i try hard to stick to the estimate..... but i am happy with how everything is going.... they dont give you your raw mark back....

yeah i looked at it at first and it seemed to hard but then i ran out of time to do it, but looked at it when i got home and it wasnt to bad. got most of the binomial done just ran out of time again.. but the projectile bit was fine, one section i was actually able to do.

i put ANU as my first choice with Act/law combined, cause it offers good scholarships and i went there for a two week National mathematics summer school and it was good, plus it has a great law and overall rep, as stated before....
