It's not your MARKS in the assessments that is your assessment mark. It's the rank and relative difference you have. This determines your assessment mark.
Say if you got 5th in a subject, the 5th highest exam mark will be given to you as your assessment mark.
Yeah I just needed to know if the BOS would scale IT up or not, because in the UAI calculator you put in your Aligned marks which are the marks after the BOS has had their way with them.
So you're saying the marks on my HSC results play NO part in determining the UAI ? Is the UAI based soley...
Hello, just was after a bit of help/info reguarding the UAI seeker.
So the aligned marks are the marks AFTER the BOS has "had their way with them".
So then, what are the "Scaled HSC marks" next to the "Aligned Marks" ? Are they your raw HSC marks ?
Also I was wondering, if I got say 75...
Well at my school it is CUSTOMARY to call them by their first name, but my school is different to most highschools. It's on site with the university, and only has yr 11 and 12, plus no detention, and it's an "adult learning environment" ie they treat you like equals, it's great :)
No not always, but "generally" it is the case. More to the point "generally" 3U maths students are more capable than 2U. I'm not talking about all extension subjects.
Minai, no of course they can achieve a similar result. But they ( 3U people ) are more likely to get in the higher band because they are more capable and hence are doing a higher level of maths than the 2U people.

Bio - 80-85%
Chemistry - 65%
English ( Standard ) - 71%
IT - 70%
Maths - 37%
I posted a reply to a thread with my ranks etc but have noticed there's been some posting since then so you may have missed it. I also have purchased a copy of the UAI calculator but don't have the login/pass at the moment.
