lol.... my friend was doing the standard paper 2... and believe me, he never studies... not even for 1 second..
And for the 1st module, we're doing inside black australia for images, and he picked the Truman show instead cause he said that was the only thing he knows a bit about...
He...
Yup :)
Maybe I'll be seeing some band 6's in standard english after all
Well I hope so, and if not, I reckon a higher proportion will fall in the band 5 range, so it should be better :)
Hehe, well at least it's over and done with now... 2 exams down!!! 4 to go :), in 9 days, after my physics exam finishes, then it's the end of torture and beginning of happiness :D
IPT tomorrow!! :(
I found the images question pretty easy... Since it's only asking us to explain how different experiences are conveyed through images...
BTW, my set text was "Inside black Australia", which was a couple of poems composed by Aboriginal poets, and it was quite easy since I only needed to...
For module A- images I wrote 6 pages...
For module B- close study of text I wrote 6 pages also.
And for module C- Texts and society, I wrote 5 pages.
Although the higher the quantity might make it look as if you know more, it's not necessarily true since those who write 7 pages might've...
Yea... it's really unfair for those students that are willing to do their best in standard english, just because a huge proportion of standard students don't try as hard, it's unfair to scale down their marks just because of other people...
I second that winston...
I answered the Macbeth question for close study of texts.... I was surprised at the broad range of answer we can give out...
Hey maybe thats a good sign! :)
Board of studies is taking it easy on us standard students :D
Don't you people think BoS might've purposely gone easy on us standard people?
I feel that the questions were much easier than previous years, and that they allowed a broad range of responses. Especially with the Macbeth one, I was so surprised at the question in the way that it offered so...
This question came up in the 2002 paper as question 17...
It says that the data type under "available after hours" as "boolean"...
Now can anyone give me a definition for "boolean" it's nowhere to be found on textbooks..
Also thanks in advance.
Roors: I found this site after searching in google http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hall/1410/lab-Project-04.html
It's not really all that helpful but that was the best I could find...:(
68% here.... But I managed to crawl up to 70% cause I was bragging about how I got marked wrong for something I thought was right...
I came 1st surprisingly and the 2nd mark was 54% and the rest failed with the lowest mark being somewhere between 10-20% lol.
Can someone please explain to me about the answers in Q10 in the 2001 HSC exam and Q5 in the 2002 HSC exam?
Q10 in the 2001 exam asks: Which graph best shows how the current through the motor varies with speed? And the answer is A, which shows that as the current decreases, the speed...
