I don't think it really matters what method you chose, as long as it provides a valid and adequate explanation ;), since all of the conversion methods have their own advantages and disadvantages:)

I'd have to say that's some very good bottom marks :) At my school most of the ppl in IPT fall between the 20-30% range... (for the trials that is). The lowest mark being 0-10% ;) So there's about 20% that's NOT actually getting band 1(10 ppl in the class, 2 passed).... well that's my...

Hmm... I don't know if I'm misinterpreting you (issues relating to messaging systems :p), but isn't it only the ranks that matter in assessment marks? Or is it like better coming 1st with an assessment mark of 90 than coming 1st with an assessment mark of 70?:confused:
