    maybe coz most of us have never had to think about what to wear to school everday - you just put on your uniform plus no one likes to feel out of place... i've heard that people at different campuses dress differently, but i'd rather be comfortable than try to be dressy.

    Yup sure is. Apparently coles pays the most, followed by kmart, although it's alot less than coles. (that's what a friend told me)

    that's quite alot! kmart doesn't pay that much, and neither do alot of other shops like newsagents etc.

    Should I bother doing a bridging course? Some of my friends are just getting a friend to give them a crash course, or reading a textbook. Do you think a bridging course is worth the time and money?

    I always felt that chem was mostly about memorising stuff, rather than actually understanding or knowing it. But then again, once you memorise it, it's there to use. Eco on the other hand is more about understanding. You learn the concept & have to explain it so that it fits the question...

    I've heard that sometimes the UAI cutoffs that they publish are sometimes higher than the actual cut off ie. people who get just below are still able to get in after 2nd round offers I'm not sure if this is true, but if it is then you might have a chance there

    usyd scholarship interviews

    Interviews have only been arranged for the faculty scholarships (different days depending on which faculty) The scholarships for high UAI's are only given out later (obviously!) And yes, you do get a letter of rejection if you didn't get a scholaship....

    How much you mofos write?!

    10 pages for the first essay about 9 for the second they ran out of writing booklets though so a few of us had to write on the backs of the other pages... stupid board of studies that doesn't provide enough writing booklets!
