what crap! the guy who is top of my year for ext 1 and 2 maths (and has got 100% for EVERY assessment so far), plus he does maths olympiads, plus he gets invited to maths conferences all over australia, plus he received some medal recently for placing in the top 40 mathematicians in australia...

thats a pretty tough question... i mean, people write articles in respected magazines (BRW, Bulletin etc) about this topic, so to get it in high school is a bit rough imo... oh, and in answer to your question... i would have no idea :( sorry...

yeh its weird... i would have loved a question on exchange rates in the hsc... you can write forever on exchange rates :)

yeh the only way to get good at multi choices is to practice and practice... after a while, you will notice that the same questions come up over and over again... they just slightly change the wording or the figures....

if you are doing ext 2 maths, the only courses you do are the ext 1 and ext 2 courses i.e. come hsc time you will only sit the 3u and 4u papers.... but in answer to your question... yes there is a fair bit of work to do for the ext 1 and 2 courses edit: but then again, if you enjoy maths...

well i thought that all of the other eco 'issues' were easier than external stability... i found the environment to be the most tedious and most boring, but nevertheless easier than external stability... i guess the thing i thought was hard about external stability was that i didnt think i...

im doing 4u at the moment, and i would definitely recommend getting a tutor... there is so much material to cover in the 4u course, but more importantly there are heaps of little tips and tricks, and if you manage to get a good tutor (as i have just gotten) you can pick up all of those tricks...

how do u know the teacher is actually wrong and you are right?? i would imagine she has had several years experience teaching and has taught the subject multiple times before i.e. she knows what she is talking about... couple this with the fact that the deputy head(mistress?) agrees with the...
