The options studied for senior science was Equity in Health and The Health of Young People. I answered the questions for The Health of Young People and Sport and Physical Activity in Australian Society.
We were suppose to study Sports Medicine and Improving Performance but the teacher bloody...
Actually guys thank you for this thread. I hadn't thought about what I was going to do, mainly cause i've started freaking out.
I've always been alright with maths, but exam situations tend to scare me which means I don't do as well as I could.
I think the idea of doing some of the past...
Has anyone made up their own Formulae sheet?
We get one in the exam but there are things you are expected to know.
I started my own but I know that I have forgotten to add most of them.
For example having things like.
Simpson's Rule.
Mode
Mean
Median
Range
Pythagoras' Theory
I did Briar Rose and was all keen because I like the book so I thought I was set but then the 'key episode' really stumped me.
If I get a marker that knows nothing about or hasn't read Briar Rose in a while I'll be fine because it all sounded good but when I got out of the exam I realised that...
I didn't name my story.
With section 3 I wrote in first person and afterwards regreted it. I was always taught to write essays in third person, but the HSC stresses me out so much that I forget everything I ever learnt
Damn, I didn't even think of writing a title.
Before the HSC my schools marks sent to the BOS for English were 93.
After Mondays exam I'm probably way way way down.
I stuffed up section 3 and missed 3 of the Qs in section 1
Well I can honestly say that I am now (after reading this thread) feeling really stupid.
I hated question 5. I wrote my answer in the last 5mins and had no idea what to say.
I hated that we only had to use one of the texts from the stimulus booklet.
Man I am going to fail miserably
I didn't finish section one (I had no idea what to write for that art review thing) and when I was completing section two someone try to leave and they were told to sit down we only had 5 minutes left so I quickly wrote something for section three.
I screwed up pretty badly
If you are now getting marks in the 90s, I'm guessing it also means that you are truely understanding the work you are doing. In the lead up to the HSC, continue to study, but don't over do it.
Getting a UAI above 90 depends on what the weighting of your earlier assessments is and naturally how...
I hate when people say that. All I think is, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. To me, the HSC is hugely important, if I stress so much that I end up in hospital at the end of the year, then so be it, as long as I get good marks.
The HSC could be a less stressed if the bored of studies took into...
