No. I have called the HSC help line and they confirmed that no marks will be deducted. If you pay for rechecking you will either keep your marks as is or recieve higher marks
How do you mean the BOS will never scale someone higher than a student with a higher rank?
I kicked ass and beat the person who was ranked #1 at our school (mind you for that subject it was a 'teachers pet' thing that put this person in 1st position and me in second.
Scenior science - was 2 marks off a band 6.... :) still good but it would have been nice to have that band 6.
Society and Culture - Up until the exam I was doing wonderfully, I think I did reasonably well in the exam but I got 59 for the subject. 59! How the hell?
Congratulations to everyone.
You have all done extremely well to have completed the HSC.
You have survived 13 years of school and no matter what your UAI or HSC results you should all be proud of yourselves for completing the process.
To everyone that has posted their UAI, you have all done...
Each person is different and just because certain individuals went through 'A LOT' and managed a UAI between 60 and 70 does not mean that others can do the same. especially since going through 'A LOT' could mean absolutley anything and what is considered a lot to you may mean nothing to another.
I got 48.8
Even though I did badly does not mean that I should not go to uni.
I am going through open foundation and I think telling someone that uni is not for them is a crock of shit.
Unless you know the persons situation and what they are capable of, don't say anything.
How do the other students in my school affect my score.
There was only one other person who did as well as me and the rest of the class was pretty low. Is that why my assessment mark was lower than the mark the school sent in?
I took 5 marks of what SAM gave me and that is the UAI I expected.
The marks have pretty much gone down each year and its been said numerous times on the forum to take some marks off and don't hold SAM to be true.
SAM prediction = 47.05
UAI = 48.8
Very disappointed with my results...
83 is good. I think you should be pleased with that mark.
I went from high 80s in my trial and school assessments to 59 for the HSC results.
I don't know if my PIP was really bad or I flunked the exam.
Ok people time to explain it to me..
Exam mark = HSC exam mark. correct?
Assessment mark = moderated school mark?
I'm just wondering how my assessment mark for English went from 92 (mark the school sent in) to 63 (assessment mark on HSC results)
