I earn about $500 a week, but I get paid monthly, which screws me over majorly.
After deducting $200 for transport a month, $220 board p/month and paying my phone bills, insurance etc....
I just end up spending the rest... on something... I don't know what...
I have an inability to...
At the moment I'm having a thing for my peacock feather earrings. But in general anything huge, colourful and sparkly! I like my haning dice earrings aswell.
Terry Wogan will be doing the commentary this year, no Des Mangan. Not even a Des Mangan lead up into the contest.
He is really annoying, but his book 'This is Sweden Calling' about the history of Eurovision is rather good ($2 from that book shop at Central Station).
I wholeheartedly...
^ C'est Audrey Hepburn!
YAY! l'Eurovision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
La semaine dernière j'ai trouvé un livre écrit par Des Mangan de l'histoire de l'Eurovision- 'This Is Sweden Calling'. Très fascinant !
Moi aussi!!
I know! I watched it even though I own it on DVD. Still, it's fun to see the slight differences in translation between SBS and the DVD.
The gay parade float kills me everytime. :D
Ugh. The other day all the trains going to Hornsby terminated at Gordon so when I got on, so did another 400 people and the train was already packed having come from Central. I was forced to stand underneath some smelly man's armpit. Not a pleasant experience.
Aww! How cute! I wish my parents listened to that.
I grew up with George Thorogood and The Destroyers "Bad To The Bone". And something called 'Jive Bunny'.
Then at the age of 5 I discovered ABBA and haven't looked back.
I did go through a phase where I liked Aqua, Steps, Run...
Good:
I don't really have to think.
I can screw around on the internet for most of the day.
Bad:
Office environment totally suffocates creativity.
They pay monthly.
Everyone is hella old.
Everyone is hella conservative.
It's quite boring.
Hours suck balls.
People are too...
