lol I agree.. using McLake's logic, you could make any subject relevant to med..
In my opinion GEOS1201 seems more relevant to a subject like med sci than say the COMP courses we are given to choose from.
I'm doing med sci too (1st year) and I agree that we do have a really crappy range of...
Well I'm doing fundamentals of Phys (phys1111) which is the easiest physics and I can tell you that they scale marks in my course. The mid session average was 20/60 so they made that the pass mark.. the tutors told us this. I am not to sure, but i think making the average the pass mark is the...
yeh.. resource room is always staffed with at least 2 tutors. Just went to uni today (tues) and they had a revision lecture also at 11-12am.. just going over tutorial 2 i heard (didn't go.. decided to stay in resource room and ask questions).
Yep.. I absolutley love brand new (always noticed the soco aramento lyrics in your sig). I liked them so much that I ordered their album deja entendu off the net months before it was in Australia. They're a major reason why i bought a ticket to the blink concert in the first place.. but that...
Checkers by Marsden? I think I'll check that book out now. It sounds pretty good.
I used to be a big fan of Marsden, because of his "Tomorrow when the war began" series which I read through highschool. I loved every single book of that series. I think he's an excellent writter of novels for...
Thats what I also was led to believe. There's alot of hype around the occupation and I was surprised when I read that statistic. However, you must remember that there would definatley be alot of space to climb in that big corporate ladder and that the statistics gathered are taken for the age...
Take a look here:
http://jobsearch.gov.au/joboutlook/default.aspx?PageId=AlphaSearch
It's a page set up by the Australian government to give people an idea of what occupation pays what. If you read the breakdown on actuary, the weekly earnings for 20-24 year olds is $815/week before tax.
I don't think the case is "which uni has great nursing", they're all great. The bottom line is, this will have really detrimental affects on the number of qualified nurses being supplied every year. Just looking at the statistics in that article it amazes me how a uni that trains the 3rd largest...
well.. there was a post some time ago.. a little searching should bring it up where it stated some persons sister did med sci and finished it and is now working in mitre 10 as a checkout person.
whoa.. 30cp is really crazy. I know a person in science doing 24 cp and his hours are really really long because science adds those pesky labs which can really increase your hours/week.
In my opinion.. it can be done in 2 years if you take summer classes.. but you'll miss out on the holidays etc.
I do Med science at UNSW (first year) and there are no majors for med science. This is a major reason why people dont get employed with this degree.. the course is so general.
As for transfers in first year, I met a person doing 3rd year med science and he told me that in his first year, all...
