If this applies to anyone reading this, I've since gotten a little clarification on the matter. Both myself and Nanashi have had it confirmed that there is an exception for PV students and we are allowed to take Physics 1A the first term and then go straight to Higher Physics 1B the second term.

OK, so I've enrolled (or I'm enrolling) in PV & solar energy engineering, and we have this flexible first year thingy. So anyway, it gives the choice whether to do Maths 1A or Higher Maths 1A, Maths 1B or Higher Maths 1B, Phyiscs 1A or Higher Physics 1A, howver... Higher Physics 1B is required...

^^ That's what I'm doing this year. A shame, cuz with the way my marks for the first semester were going, my GPA would have been much higher than my UAI is. Still, there was no way I was doing another semester of that course.

I'd also like an answer to the above question. I myself, shall possibly be joining the ranks of UNSW next year, hopefully in some form of engineering. I'm actually an 04'er, but I'll be going into first year nonetheless as this year's degree wasn't exactly working out.

Thanks for the offer round dates. But like I said, this year's UAI release is irrelevant to me. Took my HSC last year, got a UAI of 84.7, did one semester of a dodgy course this year, and if you have completed less than one year of uni you need to apply through UAC again.

Before you say anything, I realise this year's UAI's aren't even out yet, so it won't be any time soon, but still, I got my UAI last year so all that is really relevant to me is the uni offers stage. Does anyone know the exact date they are released?

Which is better for eletrical engineering out of USyd and UTS?

OK, UNSW is the best for electrical engineering, soi lets forget about that... What about between UTS and USyd?
