Hi guys, does anybody have an exemplar science report they'd be willing to share, or any tips on how to write one? (Last time we had an SRP assessment the highest was 25/30...and we have one next term, woohoo...) Thanks!

should i drop to 10 units or keep 12

As someone who does 4U math, I reckon that if you have to drop something, I would go for business - memorising definitions (from what I've heard) is a core part of the subject, and you're not gonna be able to do much without it. Understanding math concepts is tricky but it's meant to be hard...

Should I learn ahead for vectors and mechanics?

Thanks so much guys! I’ve only learnt basic integration so far (some of the advanced stuff), but once my assessment block is over and I’ve got more integration under my fingers, I’ll have a look at mechanics. I remember in Year 10 science struggling a little with the concept of turning as...

Should I learn ahead for vectors and mechanics?

Hi guys! I do Math Extension 2 but do not do physics (and have no tutoring), and the rest of my class does do physics. How similar is physics to MXX content? Should I learn ahead for the vectors and mechanics topics to keep up, or is doing physics not that much of a help? Thanks!

guys i got a d pls help me

In Year 11 I did Dracula for English Ext 1 - here is a passage from a practice essay I wrote: Dracula himself is immediately set apart from the English gentleman with his “very marked physiognomy” and a “lofty domed forehead”, invoking the pseudoscience of phrenology (the belief the skull’s...

guys i got a d pls help me

I used to do Eng Ext 1 (enjoyed it, I just dropped due to the rest of my program being heavy) and also did decently well - may I ask what feedback you were given? For critical readings, what I used them for would be to just find a phrase that essentially sums up the argument that you'd want to...

Sheesh, those are some high stats - thanks guys! Guess I need to go study, haha...I have no idea what ATAR or UCAT percentile I'm looking at, but those were similar to my aims, so at least it's not too much of a scare? Thanks once again!!

UCAT - what is a competitive score now that AR is gone?

I want to get into the UNSW Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMed) and the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. Now that abstract reasoning isn't a thing anymore (RIP), does anybody know what a good score would be to be competitive? Also, does situational judgment impact my chances, or does UNSW not...

    eng at1 bombed

It's only the first task, there's plenty of time to pull your rank up like others say :) especially when it's only a small part of an internal moderated mark (which will probably increase anyways) that includes wayyyyy more assessments! Another thing to consider is what do you need for the...

    Additional topic essay? (Music 2)

Hi guys, I do Music 2 and I was going through past papers and the essay has recently always been on Australian music of the past 25 years. Is this a new syllabus thing that it'll always be on Australian music, or do we still need to know additional topic pieces for our HSC? If so, what kind of...
