Yeah I'm gonna doubt probability and complex for the last q and thank fuck because I'm shit at those lmaaoo
Honestly Conics would be cool, or mechanics ~ If I just get like 65+/70 for Q1-14, then I can scrape marks in Q15 and Q16 (I normally do well in Q15, like 10+, kinda weird) and get my...
You will certainly get an E4 man don't worry about it! Any 80 will easily scale to a low 90s at least xP ~ I got 71 in my trials, so most of my HSC paper results have been higher than that, if I can get even 90 scaled I'll be stoked :D
From rawmarks.info, it looks like low 80s typically gets a b6 scaled
Tbh, Paper 1 definitely felt more difficult, but not as hard as people have made it out to be ~ Paper 2 also wasn't crazy difficult, but I don't think it was easier than any years so I'd say that the b6 cutoff would be...
*It's really hard to reply to everyone D:*
To JaxsenW and gallen88, I can totally relate to you guys xD ~ I reckon we can all get E4 scaled! ~ My weak areas are polynomials, complex and harder 3u tbh
Mechanics is honestly quite a repetitive topic, so once you see the range of questions they can...
Hey guys, with the exam in 3 days, I was wondering what everyone's final preparations are?
I'm at around a ~70-75% raw mark range, looking to try and get around a raw 80% for the exam to ensure a niiice scaled mark xD
What about you guys?
The real question here is do you still like the person? Because it doesn't sound like you do tbh
Me and my girlfriend during the HSC have setup a timetable together so we around 8~ study done (in theory) and only talk during breaks that we have set out. That way we get study done and can talk...
If I'm going to be honest, it did mention that you had to incorporate the quote - If you add it in poorly, you don't get marks for it. If you don't add it in at all, you don't get marks for it and they take it as not engaging with the stimulus. HOWEVER, if you have made a very good attempt at...
Yo we did Frank Hurley as well, I didn't find the question to be too difficult ~ For my pre-made essay, all my discoveries were "New" so I also argued against the question, but they were also "Not joyful" so I agreed with that part xD ~ For my related, the discoveries were "Not new," so again...
I'm too lazy to read what Frostguard wrote (Sorry xx)
Basically, you receive TWO marks for each HSC Subject:
1st: Your mark that you got in the EXTERNAL exam (This is scaled and shit yeah dw)
2nd: The EXTERNAL MARK corresponding to your INTERNAL RANK (So the kid that came 3d in your cohort...
At first every question scared me xD But I ended up answering them all pretty comfortably I thiiiink:
Mod A - Thought it was my strongest Mod, my essay felt a bit icky but I reckon it's good
Mod B - Was most nervous for this Q, but I think I slayed it preeeetty well
Mod C - Always felt this...
Prescribed: Frank Hurley - The Man Who Made History by Simon Nasht (Film)
Related: "On First looking into Chapman's Homer" by John Keats (Poem) and "The Story of an Hour" by Kate Chopin (Short Story)
Oooft definitely not AS confident as PikyoK overhere xD
Module A: Scared AF at first, thinking I did well though - ~17+/20
Module B: Yeah bois this was a lit question, loved it - ~18+/20
Module C: Started with this, not feeling too great but eh - ~16/20
Best of luck to everyone else c:
It was reasonably difficult tbh, but felt similar to my trials:
Section 1 was definitely weird, but upon looking back I am confident ~
Section 2 really REALLY threw me off at first, but since then I think I have done well and hopefully they see my 2 perspectives
Section 3 I really wished for 2...
Supppp people OMG it's finally here!!
Best of luck to everyone! I hope your study materialises into everything you hoped for c:

I believe for English they give you a personalised exam booklet that has your student number printed on it. For different exams however, it would probably be necessary to know your student number.
For discovery my prescribed and related texts are in separate paragraphs. So I have 2 paragraphs for prescribed, 2 for 1st related and 1 for my 2nd related just in case. So basically just make a paragraph that would in theory replace one of your 1st related paragraphs.
You'll be fine, what other people have said about has been pretty positive. In reality it is just another exam, yes it means a lot but it is no different to the other ones you have done. And considering past papers exist, you can basically do the exam right now over and over again. So you will...
Actually I went through the Rubric after my previous comment, and they haven't really touched on Confronting and Provocative discoveries, this would honestly be a gift I think for a lot of people, including myself.
