Wrong. As a Christian, it is not possible for us to speculate on why God allowed certain things to happen. Note that God does not cause evil things like this to happen, he only allows them.
It is possible that you misunderstood him, perhaps he was only trying to get across...
I'm not browbeating you, I'm responding to ur claims. "the word was god" - the bible is clear. There are not counter explanations - only mistranslations.
Obviously an atheist would see the ecumenical councils different to a Christian (cf Council of Jerusalem recorded in Acts; "the gates of Hades...
We can argue about the Trinity in English but we can't argue about "changing" the Bible in English (is this what u were trying to say?).
No the Bible's creation was a ecclesiastical not a political process (although unfortunately churches from time to time do become embroiled in politics...
I know that. I'm just saying that they neglected to change that part of the Bible. I'm guessing soon they will.
And it's not persecution but disagreement.
You didn't just say that: "10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them." JOhn 17:10 - clear equality with God
IN the same book it's even clearer: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt...
NKJV
I have serious reservations about JW but I dont think this would be an appropriate place to expound on this, nor counter your false arguments that yours is the only religion that follows the Bible. (ie by not commenting on them, I am not approving ur assertions)
Jesus was a Jew. He followed the OT in order to fulfil the law and establish a new covenant. So we are under the new covenant not the old covenant. I dont see what's so difficult about that.
How can you argue that someone believes something when they say they dont? It's unwinnable.
i don't think you can say that esp. about iran. iran is the source of political islam, which is very dangerous to western values. i know second hand that the arab world was much more liberal before the iranian revolution. not a very good breeding ground for terrorists.
when you say "magic" are you referring to the presence and actions of God?
Because I don't consider that magic, as I consider actions of God to be entirely expected, given that He has power over the whole universe.
