I play classical and have for a few years but i'm in a Rock band so i need to know both sides- It's also just what i find more entertaining as more people (that i'm surrounded by) know more modern songs than classical.
I've been playing piano for 11 years and my brother plays guitar so i thought i'd learn. I still play piano and it's my main instrument but i like being flexible- like a jack of all trades.
It didn't stop me but it's been a year and it isn't really healing- it's kinda getting worse and affecting daily tasks.
Piano is beautiful sure- but i'm also trying to learn other instruments like guitar, drums, and vocals because i feel you can do more with them in terms of modern day pieces/songs.
I wish i could tell you- but i played this one piece at the beginning of last year for an assessment and it caused stabbing pain and inflammation in a tendon, and instead of it just healing in a couple weeks it affected every other tendon and it came up in my other hand somehow, so now certain...
I'm actually done with piano- I am going to finish hopefully half way through this year but the only thing i'll actually do is teach and play fun songs- P.S. I have multiple issues with my body and hands/ forearms which is making it harder for me to play D:
DAYUM- Bro i'm in 8 AMEB but i'm so not bothered cause i've been doing it for so longgggggAAAAAA
I do it for fun but everyone is pushing me to just finish it off.
Actually crashing out- why do i do advanced English? Made the stupidest but tiniest mistake (will cost me if i did it in my exam) and my teacher told me i'll basically fail.
Isn't life great- aha...
