Excellent. The most frustrating part obviously of going into the city is that everything has incredibly huge queues.
Friends and I booked a hotel room near the city, so we're going to be bar/house party hopping around the inner west for most of the night. I think I shall avoid the fireworks...
My vote would also go for Enmore. As well as Stanmore/Petersham, they're quieter than Newtown and slightly less expensive as well but still quite close to the university.
It's probably best to do your research though and make sure you're happy with the apartment/house that you plan to rent...
Only lectures. I bring a small notepad to tutes to write down anything important. Which is hardly ever. Plus its really noticeable in a small tutorial when someone is typing away furiously.
Personally, I'd say yes! Best thing I did this year was buy one of those small laptops (already had a big laptop at home) and began taking that with me every day to uni. I found that my note taking was a lot better and more consistent and a life saver during exam time. My handwriting is shocking...

Just saw the ad in my local paper. But most of the jobs are advertised on this website. Just click on administration grouping.

Full time uni, part time work. I mainly work weekends, theyre quite flexible and let me work around my uni schedule.
Our department never wins. Its always those damn nursing staff up on the wards that win :(
See that's the kind of present I would be very very happy with. Not so sure whether they would be though.
Oh the hell with it anyways, stupid xmas. Nothing but stress and no joyful things such as snow.
Yeah I get the same 'sort of' thing at work. But mine is more like relatives of patients thinking I will let them into the wards despite the fact its hours after visiting hours have ended. They think if they can just keep arguing with me I will let them in. Thankfully I just press the security...
What amazes me about this is that these customers actually think there might be a chance that you will fall for it and give them back their money. The nerve! or the stupidity. whichever
