who said it was?
the point of the different interpretations is just to reassure the stuffy old people at the Board of Studies that people care enough about King Lear to continue studying it and making up new readings.
I came up with a reading the other day which involved John Howard(Lear), Peter Costello (Cordelia), Phillip Ruddock (Goneril) , Alexander Downer (Regan) and with Mark Latham (Glouscester), Simon Crean (Edgar) and Kim Beazley (Edmund) and Amanda Vanstone (France), Natasha Stott Despoja (Albany) and Cheryl Kernot (Burgundy) John Anderson as Kent. Oh and George W. Bush as the Fool.
I was bored ok leave me alone! And the HSC is making me insane.
