Umm... we only started the unit three weeks ago, so there was next to no time to prepare. Umm... I hardly prepared anyway, compared to my previous assessments.

Didn't put enough detail in, etc etc.

Well. Maybe we can turn this into a "What NOT to do thread..." :p

If that helps.

But still...

They didn't even give us a question. It was a statement with a question mark at the end. :p

Meh, I don't care what happens to the thread. I just wanted to tell everyone how bad that assessment was.

What was the statement? If you remember (I don't know why I'm interested)

Some crap about context and meaning and form. I had to keep reading and trying to make sense of the bloody thing because I forgot what I was supposed to be talking about. :(

Awww. I got the emma/clueless thing straight off, because of the pride and prejudice/bridget jones thing... I think that becoming familiar with the text helps... I did really well in my emma/clueless assessment... I've never read emma though.. go figure *cough*
I watched the movie... I'm such a cheap-ass haha

But she was such an agreeable lady. So very obliging as to write a number of novels and make students want to commit suicide for hundreds of years after her death.

Lol, sounds sort of like Shakespeare? Haha... no I don't mind his work actually... Universal themes and such... a template for the human existance... or some twat-waffle. But Austen just wrote historical prose, so annoying!

She wrote about the day Emma recieved a great frock from Mr Knightley. Never before had she been given such a lovely frock, though it could have been longer. :p

Ahh such a lovely frock...
Mr Knightly seems so much like Mr Darcy... Stereotypical characters... go Austen go!

She's cunning. Death wont stop her evil. Not until the last copy of all of her nasty work is burned... or eaten.
