(probably dumb) question regarding ranks and average marks (1 Viewer)

My school does not make its students aware of their current rank in a class, nor what our current average marks are (at least they haven't yet) So, how did everybody else go about finding these out? Did you just approach your teachers of your own accord? I need to find out as I can't predict my UAI or have any sense of security or direction otherwise!

dont u get half yearly reports and end of year reports??? They should give you an indication. Or even maybe paretn teacher interviews??

or what argo said u can go around asking students about their marks and u can work it out from there

dont they, becuz, many of my teachers say that marks are all made up. But the rankings are always the same.

Great. Now I'm even more confused. Seriously my school does not tell us our ranks! Our reports are like primary school styles: "Alice gets along well with her fellow class mates, is hard working, concientious blah blah blah etc etc." What bullshit! I guess I can still work out my average mark with a calculator...thanks.

then i think u shud ask ur teacher...
