I've got my half yearly ancient history exam morning and need some help with these questions. The way they do it is, they give us sets of questions, we answer all of them, but they only pick one set of questions. This lets us prepare (easy marks
) Anyways, I'm having trouble with Caesar and to me its probably the toughest ancient history personality. Here are my questions:
Question 1:
a) Briefly describe the early career of Julius Caesar (5)
b) Explain the significance of Caesar's dictatorship and reforms. (8)
c) Explain how relevant sources contribute to our understanding of Caesar's abilities as a military leader. (12)
Question 2:
a) Outline the factors which contributed to Julius Caesar's rise to prominence. (5)
b) Explain Julius Caesar's role and responsibilities in the First Triumvirate. (10)
c) With reference to sources, assess the influence of Julius Caesar in his lifetime and beyond. (10)
I've briefly answered all the questions, except the first two (a) questions (did them fully). If anyone could help me answer these questions or send me notes please reply here or email me: cruelsaint20@hotmail.com
Thanks
