yes. 3u counts as 2 units for your uai, and 4u counts as 2 units too.

no. however, everyone does the 2u content - 4u students complete 2u by the end of year 11 (usually), and are tested the content as a preliminary course.

if you're able to do 4u, it's given that you are pretty good at 2u. so there's no point in testing a 4u student 2u material.
