I was just wondering, how near are you to the completion of your PIP?

coz im starting to panic right now...

i still have to finish some primary research and ive got my trials this term so.. im pretty skrewed... and here i am wasting time at BOS.

well, i HAVE to finish writing my draft this week because our final draft is due in this friday! done all my research, i've already written one chapter and plan on doing two more this weekend as well as the last two during the week. I've already done my log, intro and annotated bibliography. BUT DON'T PANIC!! i'm only near finishing mine because my teacher is making us hand it in early so she can proof-read it like a thousand times!

Really, your draft is due already??

I mean, I am managing my time but I am probably
going to start writing my chapters like from next week.

Well, I suppose by finishing a draft earlier
gives you more time. I'm sure you will do well

um, one fifth? i've done a thousand words sofar, i gotta hand in my 2nd submission in this friday which is about 2500 words. i feel pretty confident i can get that done by friday. but the quality, well i could do the refining after i've completely finished

yeah, my teacher worries about us heaps so she's making sure we get it all done way before its due so she can correct it heaps!

that probably means we won't do too well if she's not that confident!

just out of curiosity, in your primary research - how many methodologies did you guys use?

I myself have conducted:

• a questionnaire -i might conduct another one - yeh i know its nearly due! but i only got 9 responses back =S
• an interview -yeh, just interviewed one person so far. =S
• content analysis for 2 core films
• content review - for the rest of the similar films
• personal reflection - still gotta do this one...

is that enough considering that I've only interviewed one person and only got 9 responses back from my questionnaire?

i have a feeling that it's not..

what about you guys??
having trouble gathering primary research as well?
