emf vs flux graphs... (1 Viewer)

If a flux graph is a cosine wave, how do you know which is the right emf graph ??? As in, how do you know if it starts from the positive or the negative...


so confusing, it's in the 2007 paper i think (M/C)

Emf = - delta phi on delta t, i.e it's the negative derivative...so dy/dx of cosine is -sin, so emf = sin graph
