hey do any of u guys ever just like not study for chinese. like how do u study for continuers and stuff? do u spend 3 hrs on the paper or leave?

u know wat?i used 2 study in da non-native class wif da aussie...but i'm a typical background speaker...i luv da their accent ....soooooo cute...n da way they write da characters

haha...well...i wont comment on their accents...since my mandarin has that crappy accent all HKies seem to have..but i know what u mean...u know Daniel Wu?...sigh..all these girls liking him especially his accent when he speaks canto..lol

uhm well, i study bakgrnd spkr. unlyk sciences and maths, i just haf no idea on how to study chinese.... lyk, either tis really really easy where u only haf to glance thru ur material and some online supplements, or tis very very hard, writing out all da summaries etc...

='( wut a pain.... i managed lyk writin summary for 1.5 texts but lyk, none of em are actually tested..!! ><

i hate da part spoken exchanges..i got a strong canto accent while i speakin mandarin 2..my teacher is a hkiest..da native mandarin luv 2 tease on her accent...sometimes she can't even pronounce a word properly...so i prefer 2 speak cantoz wif her..but she never talk 2 me in cantoz.
can any1 give a tip on speakin mandarin confidently n fluencely?

probably listen to more mando news ... cuz newsreaders haf excellent mando... dun listen to mando pop unless u r absolutely desperate, cuz the pronounciatin in music can be compromised for anaesthetic means...

i had to leave chinese skool after grade 7...coz of hsc and crap..
so i can read and most stuff in newpapers and magz..

either way... lol =p blehz, i found it very hard to pick up chinese again after usin 4 yrs of english straight n try all my best to forget chinese... well, my chinese ain't my strong pt in the first place ...... =p blehz
