i was thinkin of doin MATH1041, wat is the final mark made up of?

and r the quizs all the same or different for each tut? thanxs

I'm pretty sure that math1041, like all math classes next term is filled to the brim. I attempted to enrol in math1011 and math1031 and they were both completely full, so I doubt you'd be able to take math1041 if you haven't signed up already.

1131/1081 still have quite a few spots left. And no, the quizes are different for each tut. Do you want to learn anything or just get

It looks like 1011 and 1031 have been cancelled in S2, that's why there were no places available. 1041 still has lots of places.

See (last years) course homepage for details about assessment. They will probably update it sometime in the next few weeks, I guess.

Really? Damn, I'd be pretty annoyed had I have put that in my plan originally. Any ideas why they cancelled them?

MATHS 1131 1A is offered in sem 2.

I didn't do math ext 1, and didn't do a bridging course therefore I don't qualify. Unless of course it's easy enough to get a pass mark in (which is all I'll need), in which case I could avoid doing math1031 next year.

Not hard to pass, if you work consistently.

What's it like compared to HSC 2U Mathematics?

I can't really say. However if you do your tute questions each week (most of them anyway), you should be ok.
