Not exactly like that, but the two oxygen atoms SHARE two electrons between them ie. two electrons from both oxygen atoms - total of four - orbit around the nuclei of both atoms. It is not a polar bond between the two oxygen atoms.f3nr15 said:Oxygen 1 - Takes 2 electrons
