would anyone be able to give me advice on how to develop my characters? I find that my characters dont have much depth, especially my protagonist

yeah, i know it can be icky..i'm not finding it that bad mainly coz i have a really strongly developed personality for my protagonist but no plot at all..shit..
maybe you could try listing the traits you want your characters to have just so you get a feel for what kind of voice you wanna give it.
fuck i sound like my english teacher...help me now
