Hey i have an exam 2morow and i need to know what GBE ( Government Business Enterprises) mean?

GBE is a government-owned corporation that carries out business activities on behalf of the government. Telstra used to be a GBE but now it is privatised.

Many of the GBEs are privatised to limit the control that the government holds over the general business activities.
