Hey i just came across some formulas and i was wondering if anyone knew if Sums and Differences of angles are 2U or 3U, just dont want to learn them for the 2U paper if i don't have to. thanks.
Okay, are you talking about integration (sums and differences of AREAS) or are you talking about some trigonometry crap that I can't remember? I'm not sure. If you are talking about integration, I have a hunch it might be 2U, but I'm really not sure so I would study it anyway. Um, if you are talking about anything else I can't help you until you remind me of what it is...
She's talking about things like
sinA+sinB=2sin([A+B]/2)cos([A-B]/2)
cosA+cosB=2cos([A+B]/2)cos([A-B]/2)
etc
Don't worry about these, these formulae are out of the syllabus, although they might ask you questions on these they will make you prove it first then tell you to use it
I believe they used to be in the 3 or 2 unit syllabus, but not anymore. BUT that doesn't mean you won't be examined on it. If they do, they will give you lead you through it so don't worry.
