the ivy league unis there have an acceptance rate for freshmen of around 10%. I dont think any uni here can compete with that. It might be easy to get into a local college there but to get into the big established unis is far harder than getting into the go8 unis here...

there are heeps of job for electrical engineers here in vic with salaries hovering around 130k..... so the max 70k post is a load of bull

did you try for a uni that doesnt require an intreview? I know umelb doenst need an interview. whats the deal with unsw? does it reuqire an interview? but yeah a friend of mine didnt get into monash with a ENTER of 99.85 cause his intreview wasnt great. goodluck
