why would 20 be b? the question says the MINIMAL conditions for office systen AND EFTPOS terminal. therefore there are only 3 conditions that match the 2 systems asked and u just pick the system with the least amount of ticks --> C.

yea that is right.. unfortunately it isn't an example of a protocol for those who put it :<

u basically had to write the definition of a protocol (set of rules that govern the exchange of data between computer devices) then give examples like http,ftp,smtp,tcp/ip,etc and just say what that example does for 3 marks... (well thats what i think) with handshaking i dunno if thats a good...

i thought the exam was good... there were some easy parts yet it wasn't straight forward either. though alot of it to me was more than just what was learnt from the textbook, just needed to relate your general IT knowledge to the questions. but i was happy with it. just hope i did as well...
