I've got Emil this semester for ACTL2003 - he's pretty good, and his teaching is a tad similar to Sachi's. I'm just hoping that his quizzes aren't similar to Sachi's :P
Changki ftl.
Almost made me drop the course.
I'm definately taking the following subjects next sem:
ACTL2003 Stochastic Models for Actuarial Applications (eep!)
MATH2931 Higher Linear Models
COMP1921 Data Structures and Algorithms
And I'm deciding on whether to do FINS1613 next semester or 1st semester next year. I'm considering...
Argh I can't even get a 4 day timetable. 5 days, with only one tute on Monday and one on Friday is the best I can make. :( There go my plans for having a decent timetable in S2..
Nicely done for calc :) I unfortunately didn't do as well..
Stats wasn't so bad, last question was a bit weird though (did you have the blue paper?). I think I went overboard with that last question, should've stopped it when I had an actual value and not continue doing something weird till I...
In 2006, we had ~ 173 doing math1151, and it dropped to ~ 140 in math1251.
And it's not that hard if you do the work :) It helps if you enjoy doing maths too.
Bah I've got questions 1 & 6.. they're pretty easy except my proofs suck.
The second half of question 2 doesn't seem too bad, except I'd have to look over the series topics from calc last year.. can't remember much anymore :(
Is anyone here doing comp1911 and has a lab tomorrow? :)
Yep Monday :) haha I actually know our tutor, he's the father of a friend I went to saturday language school with !
Lol I did enough of random variables in actl1001 last year - but it was good revision nonetheless. Btw, which questions do you have for the 2111 assignment?
That would be me..
There aren't many blondes doing actl/maths lol. Actually I think I'm the only one.
I don't know anyone from BOS who is in my classes? :(
