Things to consider:
* How involved do you plan on getting on non-study related activities. There are so many clubs and societies and other ways to get involved in the wider life at Uni, that you may find yourself coming in on your days off anyway.
* Why 2 days instead of three? Just for an...
Your ID card should be valid til March, but if you are a new student, get your card early in the week so you can enjoy all the nighttime events. If you head to e-Spot before 9am or after 4pm you should avoid major queues and can then spend most of your day checking out the awesome daytime...

Hey guys
Just afew things about whats happening with CSE revue at the moment:
1) The DVD's from last years show "Star-key and Hash" *#*#*# are now on sale. They cost 10 dollars each and should be widely available around CSE areas in the coming weeks.
2) Expression of interest day is...
they arent THAT strict, i think we had a bad security guard that didnt understand it was for revue purposes and was strict about it...
generally im sure they wouldnt care. 90% of revue videos are filmed on campus anyway...
u arent meant to shoot movies on campus without permission.
we got in trouble for filming our revue videos on campus and things, even just recording behind the scenes stuff isnt allowed.
but yeah, esmes is open on saturdays as well so if u go in to do some study you can still grab good...
thats not necessarily true, ive never ever had trouble finding parking in the barker street carpark with a permit.
basically, an after hours (after 330 pm and before 730am weekdays, all day weekend) permit only costs 55 for the year.
A yearly permit i believe is only avail to students who...
I also heard through the grapevine that an awesome*, very popular** and very famous*** band playing under the name " The Cross Eyed Bears" will be performing on Monday and Thursday of Oweek in the roundhouse beergarden.
*according to one witness****, "The Cross Eyed Bears are the greatest...
not too much parking
you can buy an after hours (after 3pm weekdays, all day weekend) parking permit for about 60 dollars for the year.
I have one and use it frequently for various rehearsals etc. etc. or if I need to rush into uni to drop off an assignment.
Otherwise If you try to part...
You have to pay for Eskimo Joe regardless of whether you are a student or not.
It is still exceptionally cheap if you are a student - 10 or 15 dollars I believe. and about 25 for others. Considering they charge roughly double that for any other gig and the standard of support bands Its worth...
didn't remember that at TD1 - i think i was too excited about the redsunband and sarah blasko lol.
EDIT: I have checked the panics site and it doesn't mention it on their gigs site at all, but there is a gap in there on the 23rd which could make them support for sarah blasko
yay!
As far as I know the supports for Eskimo Joe are The Outfit and The RedSunBand.
We have not been told the supports for Sarah Blasko as of yet but I have also heard the panics mentioned in oweek discussions, although it may have been discussion about another uni... :S
Will let you know once...
im pretty sure there is no limit to which years u have to do first year subjects in

Can i please ask you people to join the oweek forums!
these are the kind of things us yellowshirts want to answer :):)
but no the events as far as i know iwll not be over 18. As mentioned there will be a wristband system. The thursday night dance party may be the only night you might not be...
