The iPhone is an incredible piece of gadgetry, that's for sure. I just bought myself an iPhone 3GS.

Ah tough break there mate. As was mentioned before, if you are still looking to get into BIT, go into the BScIT course (as I said before, the subjects in both BIT and BScIT are very similar, so regardless of whether you get into BIT or not, you'll still have a comparable learning structure...
@JosephW: As far as I know, Patar is correct in his statement. Sometimes unforseen circumstances (such as new sponsors entering the program after it has started) means that extra places may become available in the BIT course. BScIT and BBusBScIT students are the ones who get to fill these...
I'm pretty sure they contact you whether you got in or not, so you'll get a phone call/email at some stage...
help_me_please correct me if I'm wrong :)
I believe the pattern of calling generally goes:
* People who got the interview letter saying that if they got 94+ UAI they're in usually get called on the day the HSC results came out or soon after
* People who got the interview letter saying that they're still eligible usually get called once...
Yeah, it's a good course :).
I see you're from Gosford High School. Perhaps you know Brad Hircock? He's in my cohort for BIT, I think he came out and did a talk at your school (which was his school too).
Know of anyone else who got in yet or did you just get called today ?
Congratulations ! Guess I'll be seeing you next year, since I just finished my first year of BIT.
And jeez, exactly the same UAI as me, down to the same 0.05
Freaky...
Congrats again :D
Yeah, what the old ladies said is burned into my brain:
"Board of Studies rules state that any student found with unauthorized notes or other material may be awarded zero for this examination or no result for the course."
Followed by:
"If anyone has paper or other unauthorised materials...
The application process changed. It's a two-round system this year.
First round closed 13th June, interviews were in July. Second round closes 31st October.
Re: How to write a BAND 6 essay?
Wow, sounds like an interesting concept. And this technique works for all questions ? I have had HSC marking teachers say that those who memorise another question's essay usually get lower marks.
Hmmm I'm trying out for BIT next year. Not many ppl get in do they ?
I'm also in ur situation Spider. I did IPT in 2005 for year 10 and got a 91.
I'm doing a CCNA course and I'm hoping that might help my chances of getting in
