i think my timetable's ok.
Mon 11: English Adv
Tue 12: Maths Adv
Wed 13: English Adv
Thu 14: Business Studies
Fri 15: Physics
Wed 20: Maths Ext 1
Thu 21: Chemistry
The only dispute about our timetable was that, to begin with, Maths Ext1, was after Physics... No way! And that was...
My trials are in less then two weeks so now I'm studying at least 2-3 hours for all my subjects! It's actually better than the usual night before technique!
we had this discussion in class and the teacher said that it is green and that conq was wrong. we had an anion/cation assessment and i got the Fe2+ solution, which got the green and by the end of the lesson it was going brown! so it was definately and Fe2+ soln.
Our trials, I think, start on the 11th August. And I've the school sets them or buys pre-made tests, something like that. Most of my trials are worth a fair bit of the assessment mark.
Participation. Sorta expecting it, I really just wanted another certificate for my portfolio. so it's all good! we had i think 3 or so credits, 3 distinctions and one high distinction in our year. not a lot of people did it this year...
I totally agree with u! My Eng marks were actually OK in the earlier years of high school but now... well, let's just say I don't think my UAI will be what I want, and it's not helping when some of my other subs have shocking half-yearly marks! Oh well, I'm not gonna stress bout it!
Being really stupid in YR10, I ended up choose the 3 main electives of Commerce, Geography and History. I think I was one of the 3 people that did all three. And I really wanted to know what my marks for in the trial of the other three tests!
And I enjoyed Geo, mainly cos I was fighting for...
I had to actually dive into my drawers to find these results:
English 80
Maths 84
Science 78
I think those marks are fairly average... Can't say the same for my senior marks...!
I say our school has friendly competition too. There might be the ocassional "I want to beat that person" attitude in some subs but other than that, I think it's fairly tame.
My fave subs are Maths (Adv & Ext1) and Business Studies. Love the Maths class, we can have fun and do work at the same time! And Business cos it's pretty easy marks. I didn't do much work except for summarising the relevant stuff and got a fairly good half-yearly mark.
