Was I the only person who found a few logical errors in the algorithm?
1) System_on [Line 2] is never used throughout the code, it's 'Switched_on' [Line 4/20].
2) When the 'WHILE NOT CardInSlot' loop is entered in to it will continually repeat over and over until CardInSolot = TRUE. So in...
I used that as my context about it, how we can relate better to the ending of the text because we hear about it all the time in modern society, and how she related it to the Acient Physociclsdfasdfgsd (I can never spell that word)
I didn't do Star Wars, but did you study the book or film? Because if you did the film then it was kinda crap the question... A lot of students would be clueless about putting a video with the book, another stuff up from the BoS.
Perhaps it's one of those situations where you feel you must do something because of what they did. Oh well, I still got other texts, and you never know, it might be suited for the question.
ARGH! Where were you during the exam? LOL, That's a good idea... Oh well.
And I agree with you other guys, they were aiming for you to be different in the texts you chose (thats why I thought a music clip was a good idea), and it's stupid the way they asked the question.
lol! We just did King Lear and I suck at that. Change is easy to relate to, because it happens all around you, all day, everyday. It's just the techniques and things within texts that kill you, unless you've memorised them and the quotes to go with them then you should do alright.
Yep I just downloaded everything I could again so I can go over it once more tomorrow, in case I learn anything else I've missed in my own notes.
*hugs his dialup modem*
I had a music clip (Through The Rain - Mariah Carey) I wanted to use, that had a lot of useful techniques in it about change, the butterflies, colours, the rain, etc. In the end I only did the lyrics of the song as I stuck to the "book" idea. I was kinda pissed off because of this, but oh well...
Before: Shitting my pants, couldn't sleep, didn't want to do the exam because of possible failure and the end of my life (well I think I'm using hyperbole there, HA a technique!!!!).
During: Ahh... It's here I may as well make the most of it, writing at the speed of light, got a blister...
I was going to do the poem, but it would have taken too long to fully analyse and write about the techniques used, and the context of it.
So I decided to do text 1 & 3 for simplicity sake.
I'm slightly resentful of the fact that I couldn't use one of my own texts for the last section cause it was a music clip, and you can't really have a music clip in a book can you? I used the lyrics instead, but many of the things I studied had to do with the clip because there was a lot of...
So who's decided to use the latest 60 Minutes story "Crunch Time" about HSC kids suiciding and stuff like that? I can link it to telling the truth module in some ways, not really sure if it's a totally relevant though *shrug*
What are your ideas?
