they arent to 'further' ur qualifications. without ur exemptions, u cant practice as an actuary and its very unlikely for u to get a job as an actuary ...

for hte union fees part of it, it has to be 30th july. but since census is end of aug, those paying uni fees upfront have till the 30th of aug to pay subject fees
ure allowed to go to algebra from one stream and calculus from another ... see if u can fit that in. from experience, i suggest u go to ur math 1b calculus lectures. u learn a fair bit of new stuff

i dont find that funny ..... i think its important to have good comm skills (though that isnt reality). i mean the major emphasis of the part IIs is communicating ideas effectively
i just repeated what it said in the hand bk. that "students are awarded honours based on performance" - this is exactly the same as any engg. u do ur normal degree, and if u get a certain mark they're looking for, they award u hns without u having to do any extra subjects. if u dont get that...
2 reaons one could leave the program
1. they dont perform well enough and get kicked out. this is the more likely cause, because actl is a hard degree
2. someone who really really wanted to do com/law might give up the co op if they can make it into law at the end of first yr ...
