I'm waiting on B Design (Visual Communication) at UWS ... I got offered Engineering in the main round (I forgot to save once I made Design my first preference, hence Engineering :(). I really hope I get it, I don't think I'll make it in engineering.
Argh. When is the government going to learn that you can't just add-on periodically and everything will be fine? The same thing happened with the roads. To start, Sydney was very small, and when it grew they just made new roads wherever was easiest without looking at the bigger picture.
To use...
Bit late in replying ... but just because I said it was easy I got branded as a 2 unit nerd? HA! I got 4% in my topic test for 2 unit at the beginning of year 11, and I dropped down to general.
Have you noticed most of these people who have said it's really hard use net speak and are saying...
Some people can mould stories to fit a question and some find it very difficult, and I didn't say to go into the exam with nothing but dead flies and fluff in your brain - I said a few ideas.
I've read quite a few answers where people have had a whole story written up previously, gone into to...
I've been at school a year longer than most, on account of repeating year 11 when I moved back from QLD to NSW. Today, our last day of lessons, was a bludge ... they could barely be called lessons :) Cakes, drinks, basketball comps ... the whole year - a whopping total of about 20 - crammed...
I almost exclusively drink Twinings Earl Grey - sometimes I might have Irish Breakfast of the same brand, but only when it runs out. I absolutely hate normal black tea, and I wouldn't ever touch anything by Lipton.
It's only difficult if you spend your time complaining about it rather than listening in class and doing your homework - half of the paper's just common sense, really.
Re: Trials Thoughts xD
I started my trials today ... English paper 1 ... I think I did okay in short response and creative writing but I stuffed up section III ... I really don't like any of the poems we're prescribed.
Well ... you can't really have a story set until you get into the exam room, because of the array of questions they can ask ... just try to think creatively about something you know or have experienced ... have a few in mind before you walk in there and tweak them to fit what they're asking.
I'm just about to start 'Winter', by John Marsden ... I finished his 'Letters from the Inside' novel today and I think I'll read all my English notes after that, seeing as I have exams on Monday and Tuesday :)
Re: What's the most difficult book you've ever read (or tried to)? (Lacan, Joyce, etc
Warragamba Dam - Red Morgan
Red Morgan was a worker on the Dam, and although enlightening, the book was very hard to read ... I didn't mind the excessive colloquial language so much, but the way in which it...
It's basically just a debate. You state affirmative or negative, and give reasons why you think so. It's analysing the effect a speech has on people, and base some points on famous speeches like the "I have a dream" speech ... it's pretty simple. Watch some videos of US presidential speeches...
I find it pointless how people reply to say they can't help ... :|
Anyway, cyrius, this should help quite a bit: http://www.4p8.com/eric.brasseur/glider2.html
