i doubt whether you have time to do both (CFA plus either CPA or CA).
as you said CFA Level 1 (more or less equivalent to UG finance degree level) is not easy, the difficulty of Level 2 & 3 increases more progressively. my bf got his CFA when he turned 22 & he spent 1.5 years for all 3 levels...
UNSW has advised me to go into another program instead of MSc Econ, they admitted me into Commerce and Economics & the suggested specialization is financial econometrics.
i think its because my UG degree was in finance & has been working on research projects in corporate finance (w/o prior...
i was in finance major & did a couple of accouting courses. i can tell you they are very different & can barely substitute each other. in case you are doing accounting, you wouldnt know anything abt international finance, dervatives, asset pricing unless you take up exams like CFA yourself...

i also want to know if i include melb u & monash, how do you put them in sequence then? (in terms of reputation, teaching quality, research achievements)...
Usyd vs. UNSW vs. UQ, which one is better for econ?
i applied for MSc econ of these three uni & have been given firm offer, but i am not sure whcih is best in econ? (i know their ranking in general, but not quite sure how they differ between subjects.)
thanks!
