I'd say you could use anything about the texts to compare/contast them.
It's normally a question about your opinion, like choose 2 texts to be in something something, which would you choose. I would be inclined to think that even something like, you can relate to it more, or something would...
I was thinking of using one in the intro of my module C essay. Something Kahlil Gibran said... its about truth. I found it in one of the free resources i got here, figured, dam, thats good, so ima probably be using it.

I don't think you have to get material related to hughes. I think u need to relate it with how they may or may not be telling the truth.
I'm using Fulbright Scholars, and Your Paris, and i was thinking about how hughes is kinda lost, sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about...
well, u could do a story about someone who has or is still suffering from some sort of cronic disease, and how it changes their out look on life, etc.
or, one of his/her loved ones has passed away and show how that person has impacted on the character's life.
Something like that. Generally...
