for all those maths-worriers, i got 32.5% on my trial extension 1 maths test, ended up with a terrible rank, with some hard work etc etc managed to grab a 42 hsc mark.

If you put the effort in you won't flunk out in the hsc, if you know at least one general essay for each module off by heart and practice tweaking those essays you really cant go wrong.
Besides you run the risk of flunking out in every subject in the hsc exams, there is nothing you can do...
if you are capable of modern and ancient history as well as history ext, u should be more than capable to do well in advanced english.
In my personal case i was ranked aprox 30/60 in advanced english and ended up with a hsc mark of 85, whereas my friend who was ranked 2nd in standard also...
vary ur study locations, try studying in a nice (wind sheltered) garden. My personal favourite was studying in the bathroom and scaring everyone that came in.

Ok i ended up picking CHEM1011 because I've already done high school chem and i think the mechanics ones like MMAN1300 can only be taken second semester, so that only really left chemistry :S I was quite confused but it doesnt matter cause I'm so excited :D
