i kno u shouldnt make career decisions based on earnings but out of interest
how much would a manager at one of the big four earn?
and wat kind of sum would a partner be looking at?
hi just have a question
wat do people think about carrying a third subject whilst doing the cadetship instead of doing 2
i really wanna get a law degree as well and the only way that i can sign up for law is if i do full time.. which means a minimum of 3 subjects.. wat do people think of...
everyone in my class laughed at me when i said i spent a long time preping totalitarianism.. they are like "your a moron they asked that in 2005"
whose laughing now haha
the other question was disgusting anyway.. having to talk about the success's of weimar would be a horrible essay
hey i still dont know whether to go pwc or westpac.. ive got till monday to make a decision or both firms will get cranky
im leaning towards pwc.. only on the basis that they offer 7.5 hours study leave which is important and the fact it seems like a good idea to get some accounting...
hi just a general question
im tossing up cadetship offers from westpac and pwc
i want to work in finance not accounting.. but alot of people say that a few years in an accounting firm is really good for moving into finance
so in light of that do u think its worth starting off at pwc...
hey does anyone know whether it is possible to transfer uni's during the cadetship
for instance.. at pwc where it is 2 years part time study followed by 2 yrs full time study.. wat i would hopefully like to do is study at UTS for the part time years and then transfer to sydney for the full...
HA u left a message.. ur full of shit.. u didnt even get PKF let alone UTS
why dont u copy and paste the first paragraph of ur congratulatory email to prove u are legit.. i will then paste the second paragraph in fairness
im sorry but u dnt get rejected by all of the big 4 and magically get...
HAHAHAH i have thoroghly enjoyed readeing the last 4/5 pages.. and in all honesty.. it was only a matter of time before it happened.. cause everyone was thinking it
but dw bout them 'jordan'.. ur combination of witty comment followed quickly by a "lolz" is pure genius.. im sure all ur mates...
ok heres the low down.. and i hate to be the bearer of bad news for some but im positive about this
at the sydney location ther are 2 cadetships available.. westpac have taken their shortlist and picked people to interview and they will make the final decision on who is in mid week
i dont...
westpac will announce next week they said
and its not 4 positions.. its 2 (btw whoever it was who said westpac were offering 25.. wat were u smoking?)
i had my interview today and the building is amazing
but yeh it is soo stupid that they didnt interview everyone
and its become clear...
i was tax and legal and was today (tuesday)
the process isnt too daunting u cant really prepare for it.. just be very sociable in the group activities and interview and u will hav no problems
GOOD LUCK
for that very reason my preference is a co-op with UTS or UNSW.. that will allow for work experience and some solid cash whilst still having the uni lifestyle and less stress
i guess you will enjoy a cadetship if u love wat u are doing.. thats why i havent applied for accounting firms.. cause...
are you sure? how do u kno?
they are taking 25-30 of the westpac people?
it would be extremely unfair that 30 westpacs would get in and only 3 UBS.. that means alot of the best candidates who preferenced UBS, Zurich will miss out and others who may not be as gooder candidates would
they...
nah sorry wednesday week.. the 9th
yep i will be sure to tell u questions.. the email seemed to put emphasis on work experience and didnt ask for a copy of half yearly report which suprised me
