hello, I just want to know people's opinion on what UAI my friend might get if she does low scaling subjects. She really wants to get 80 UAI but I think she can only get 70 - 75.
her final rankings are:
english standard: 1/78
earth and environmental science: 1/7

yeah I guess you're right. Anyways, I don't really want to know the marks, only the overall ranks coz then you can predict whether your internal mark is high or low from your overall rankings :)
thanks for your reply :)
What is this confirmation letter? I'm not quite sure if I've signed it or not..
Yeah anyways, I'm doing really bad in chem since I haven't studied for it all year. The only reason I kept it was because I wanted a back up subject in case I do really bad in other subjects, but that didn't end...

hi,
I was just wondering, since I have 14 units altogether, will it still be possible for me to drop a subject even at this late stage of the hsc or will it be too late?
because I was thinking of dropping chem since it's my worst subject (failing) and will definately won't count towards my...
oh okay, but how come we can't see it straight away and have to wait till the hsc exams are finished?
also, do we get our overall ranks listed in the final end of year report cards?
thanks.
I think you might have missed a very crucial point here my friend. The thing is, it really doesn't matter what subject you choose, even if its high scaling or low scaling. In the end, all that matters is what UAI you get and to most people, the UAI matters more than the subjects that they chose...
hi
I was just wondering, now that all the final ranks and internal marks are being finalised and sent to the board, is there any way to have access to these ranks/internal marks so that you can see them for yourself?
or is the only way you can see these is on the final report cards...
hi
I was just browsing through the uac guide and saw this course called
"Bachelor of Science with Bachelor of Arts in Natural and Cultural Heritage and Mueseums".
I read about it and it seemed pretty interesting.
Does Anyone here do this degree? If so:
What is it like?
How difficult is...
oh okay.
I was also wondering, what happens to the students who are ranked 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc?
Replies with some examples would be good (i understand more when theres examples).
thanks,
hello.
after the trials, i tried to calculate what my overall assessment mark would be for English Standard by adding the % of all my assessment results + the % of my trial result. I have come to the conclusion of getting 80 - 81.
the thing is though, I'am ranked 1st out 78 people. I was...
Hey guys.
I was just wondering whether the questions asked in the HSC / Trials for Design and Technology are mostly based on the practicals we've done in class?
Haven't had much time to look at past papers yet.....:mad1:
Hey guys,
So far for Chemistry, my class has finished the 3 compulsory modules, but we've only started on Industrial Chemistry (our elective). I dont think theres enough time to study our elective thoroughly :( .
What are you up to?
