I have been applying to a UK uni from Australia through UCAS. Very very difficult what with tests and sending in written work. I feel for you with your difficulties with the British Council.
I completely agree. However someone was saying that if they do specify for Harwood they would have to specify which poem/s for all of the poetry options otherwise it would be unfair. Is there a poetry option for Journeys? They didn't specify if there was, so I'm assuming that they won't do it...
For Area of Study essay you will need one supplementary text, one stimulus and one prescribed (you might like to have an extra supp just in case they ask for two or your first one doesn't fit the question.)
For Critical Study of text you don't need any supps
For In the Wild or Transformations...
Ha ha. Yay I'm not alone in my clock mis-readings. I think I just hate analogue because I fear I've just got it wrong and so I keep re-checking and waste time.
2 more days kiddies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then celebration time :santa:
(Well apart from the month of...
Its not the feature article that was confusing me just the fictional and real characters... We haven't really got a question like this before.:bomb:
Woohoo! Same trial. What school do you go to Samuel?
I know its pushing it a bit tight but I thought we could make a thread of trial questions. This could help in just thinking about how you would go about tackling a number of different questions.
So my trial question for imaginative journeys was:
"The world would be a less interesting place...
I'm getting really paranoid now that I'll turn up to the exam and they'll be like "Oooh STOP THAT GIRL SHE HAS A WATCH THAT MAY BEEP! No watch for her." And the analogue clocks in my exam room are really crap and old and slow or fast and it takes way too long for mathematically challenged people...
What do they mean by programmable watch? That it has a stop watch...
jazzmuzik does that mean then if your watch has the potential to beep it is not allowed in lol
Just thought I'd let everyone know that day light saving happens on Sunday the 29th of October this year. The clocks are being put forward one hour so remember to go to bed one hour earlier if you've got an exam on Monday!
Thank you so much for these notes they've really calmed me down. I...
I hate people that writeso furiously its like they're going to die any minute. The desk is constantly wrattling and then they look up at everyone around them and turn their page really loudly just to let everyone know they're writing a lot.
I wouldn't do it again because I'm quite happy with my internal marks and dangerously close to losing all motivation and interest in life so I couldn't do it again.
I would like to stop time though to have a like two week holiday before the exams start and then study. If you could stop time...
But if you call up the HSC advice line they ask for your student number (they could track you down:confused: lol) . They'd probably just tell you that you shouldn't anyway.
