My mum thought I was crazy when I suggested I take a day off work the day I get my ATAR! Thank God I'm not the only one!

The ATAR calculators gave her a higher ATAR, but the thing is it can work the other way around. Another friend of mine received an ATAR 10 points higher than what the ATAR calculator said, so I guess there's a little bit of hope in that.

Hey guys,
I'm planning to study Law/Psychology at UNSW or Law/Arts at USYD. I'm very interested in the Law/Psychology degree but I'm worried about UNSW's emphasis on group work.
I'm a highly independent worker and though I don't mind group work, I feel like UNSW over-does it, from what I've...
I filled in all nine of my preferences, don't want to get too cocky! But my top 3 are as follows:
1. USYD Law-Arts
2. UNSW Law-Psychology
3. Macquarie Law-Psychology

For 2015 graduates, do you have your goals set in terms of which specific degree and university you want to go to, or are you waiting for your ATAR to dictate which pathway you head down?
At least 81 I reckon, legal studies isn't exactly an overly demanding subject. Though I only found out a few days ago about HSC's aligning, I was under the impression that raw marks were your HSC mark, and now that I've discovered otherwise, I'm pretty much mentally partying.

Hi,
I'm fairly new to all this, but I'd like to ask when it is school usually ask students to write down their university degree preferences? Does it all happen after the trials, or before? I'm pretty much clueless. And is it only three preferences or more?
