So I'd be getting a better assessment mark in Physics than Chem because the difference between me and second is smaller? Wouldn't it make more sense if it were the other way around?
Is it better for the relative gaps between each person to be small or large?
I got 73% in my chem half yearlies while the second ranked person got like 52%, so the difference is huge.
While in Physics I'm first but the second ranked person is very close to me.
Didn't say it doesn't.
The point is that losing weight can be achieved by simply eating less. Things like exercise and physical activity do assist in the process but the diet is the most important thing when it comes to losing/gaining weight.
I'm guessing it's due to the law of conservation of energy.
The same amount of energy that was given to the charge has to be lost or transformed in the resistor. aka potential difference.
