I am doing mechatronics because I want to get into spacecraft systems engineering. It sounds like so much fun.. so yeah, I would say mechatronics. And if I dont get into spacefract systems then its easily applied to so many other modern technologies.
Re: Is there any use bringing a laptop to uni?
I use my laptop in the library whenever I have a free period to do assignments/check our course websites and study. Definitely useful when I know I have a lot of free time between classes.
Just 2 questions.... if we are already students at ANU do we just get a reprint of a new ID or do we have to get new photos taken etc? Where can we get this done?
Also, if we were part of societies in '10 do we have to rejoin/pay membership again this year? (I would assume so, but no one...
Don't you ever have an urge to feel like a med student for a day? Or an arts student? It's kinda fun. And, if its boring, you can leave and it doesnt matter :)
Do we need to worry about doing up our timetables with tutes and prac groups yet? Or does that get organized in our lectures? Also, do we have to take all prac groups, or are they split up like tutes and we only do 1 a week?
I was going to take Chemistry 1 but have decided that is wasting an elective and am taking COMP1100 which is required later on anyway. Do we just have to change the course by dropping Chem then adding COMP on the ISIS enrolment thing? I already put in Chem1 but have changed my mind.
Putting off packing my bags. Moving out of home tomorrow and my room is almost completely empty so there is nothing to do but tell people what I am doing on forums like this one.
I wasn't forced into playing. I've always loved the piano..... it produces such a beautiful sound.... its like a whole new world (aladdin reference rofl) can be accessed by the single stroke of a key. It allows me to relax and think.
I got a digital keyboard for christmas a few years ago and...
rofl I wasn't even going to conform. I was thinking just a black party dress or something XD... man... maybe I should have a look during the week though. i dont think my boyfriend wants to wear anything bright with sequins.... and especially not tight looool
I voted Sydney uni. This is because it was only asked which university would be better.... in terms of your education and future opportunities I would have to say the more prestigious university would always win. 10% is a small difference that is probably accounted for by the "i want to move out...
I chose to go to ANU in canberra despite living 3minutes drive from a university. This is because ANU is a prestigious university and has a much better engineering program. It also means I can live with my boyfriend after 4 years of living separately. So I will still have a support system there.
