Re: Will part-time job experience help get a job after completing a commerce/eco degr
Can you clarify what you mean by "look at university scores to make sure you are not retarded"? Do you mean you won't consider anything less than straight distinctions? No fails? No passes? Average above...
It's because, as Omnidragon said, i don't know what i want to do.
I have a lot of opportunities, i guess, and i'm ambitious..this degree opens up almost everything except anything medical and that's kind of the problem. Do i go into engineering and aim for project management and engineering...
I met somebody the other day who completed an internship in equities research at a BB bank, and i was wondering if someone (say seremify007 or Newbie...people who seem know the industry i guess) could shed some light on what the job and career is like. How much do they pay as a grad, what is the...
I have a question.
Say you're doing electrical engineering and you want to work in a bank (as opposed to being an engineer). Maybe investment banking, but not exclusively that. Would there be any leeway with regards to your WAM compared to a commerce student? (ie, commerce students might need...
Wouldn't there be a set limit of people who can get first class honours? I mean, what if a quarter of the engineering intake for a specific discipline are internationals who study and get a distinction average?
I just imagined there would be be like a given percentage or something.
I mean, in order for any university to maintain their prestige, they'd have to limit the number of people attaining first class honours, surely? That, coupled with what i'm sure are a lot of internationals who really buckle down and study...is 75 just a minimum, and if it is, what is the average...
I have a lecture and a tutorial. Lecture's 2 hours, tutorial's for one and it's awfully convenient (read: i'll be stuck in uni for aagees) for me to have that tutorial in the second half of that 2 hour lecture.
How does this 'approved clash' process work exactly?
Yes, my wam is above that. Is a conceded pass automatic or do i have to apply for it?
Note: I don't trust/rely on scaling considering how unbelievably bright everyone is in the computing courses, in my experience . I'll trust it to scale me DOWN, as opposed to up.
It's changed this sem for 1917
Need at least:
15/40 for assignments/labs
12/30 for written
12/30 for practical
50/100 overall
Don't think i can get that for practical...pdsfjpgjrpgjprgjorpgprogjprgjprgpro
Just to note, i'm doing electrical engineering. I'm Dota55, but i forgot my password..
Well, here it is. I've worked pretty hard on this subject all semester. We have two tests, a written exam and a practical. You needed to get 12/30 in each one, and 50/100 overall to pass the course. While i'm...
